·         The “Affidavit of Support” is a document applied for by someone who vouches/assumes responsibility for a visitor.

Ang “Sinumpaang Pahayag sa Pagtulong o Apidabit” ay dokumento o kasulatan na  inaaplayan  bilang pag-ako ng pananagutan at  pagtulong ng tao sa inanyayahan o bisita.

The Philippine Consulate General in Macau SAR, together with the Philippine Department of Tourism (PDOT) and Philippine Airlines successfully held the "Philippine Tourism Presentation" on 15 January 2010.   It was organized to update travel agents in Macau on the latest market developments in Philippine tourism and the featured destinations of Manila and its environs, Cebu, Bohol and Boracay.  The event was held at the Institute for Tourism Studies (IFT) Pousada Conference Room and was attended by several travel agents from Macau, Hong Kong, Zhuhai and Zhongshan.

On 07 January 2010, Macau passed a law that prohibits illegal guesthouses with a view towards preventing criminal activity and ensuring observance of safety and health standards.  Administrative and criminal sanctions can be imposed on offenders such as hefty fines from US$ 25,000 – US$ 100,000 on persons who operate illegal inns and prison terms from two to eight years for those who accommodate or are responsible for illegal residents.
